Our Service Coordinator Jessica helped a service user to move properties. It has been ongoing for a long time, and Jessica was able to communicate with the council and housing officer to finally push through the move, as well as securing funds to contribute towards decorating costs, carpets, washing machine and blinds.

As well as this, Jess was also there to offer moral support and advice throughout. The service user was thankful for the work that we had done and loves his new home.

Jessica also helped another service user be awarded with gas and electric funds and partake in hobbies that she enjoys. Since this support, the service user has started to reach out to her friends which is great progress as she does not usually socialise.

Our peer mentors had been through the Open College Network to obtain a peer mentoring qualification.

They had been passed for a few months, and after further training they were able to shadow service coordinators and use their qualification. Now, they work with our service coordinators to help others. It has been really inspiring witness.
